The month of March has been a muddle. The days have marched by so quickly and many things have been left undone as unexpected events have taken priority. Early in the month I (Edith) had 3 days in bed with the flu which meant I was unable to attend any of the Impact World Tour events. I have been the prayer coordinator for North Hamilton for a year and put many hours a week into seeing every house and street prayed for and over 5,000 pamphlets distributed in "letter drops" in my area. Great team work, great results, great crowds in the Waikato Stadium and thousands coming to the Lord Jesus, nationwide. In the middle of the month Noel had minor surgery with an overnight stay in hospital. It has taken him a few weeks to recover and he is now more comfortable. I (Edith) am doing a counselling course, Refocusing Therapy, at night school and enjoying the challenge of up-grading my skills. Our beloved cat Tiger injured her hind leg and had surgery to repair the damage which included 3 days at the veterinary clinic. Edith had hoped for a ruby ring for her 40th anniversary but the cat is wearing to equivalent of it on her leg. The cat is recovering, the ruby ring a distant desire for now. At the end of the month we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a group of friends. We had a short holiday in Pauanui with our dear friend Jean Ballingall. She gave us the "Royal" treatment and we were refreshingly blessed by her gift of hospitality. |
