| Bible Characters tell their stories | |
| When
we read about men and women in the Bible, they seem larger than life
and almost unreal. We often find it hard to relate to them. Several
years ago I began to think what it would be like if one of them gave
their testimony in more modern terms. "Isaac" was my first
"contemporary testimony" and was initially intended for a youth
audience. However the response from adults showed me that it was a
powerful means of touching them too. More recently I added "Joseph" (from the Old Testement), and because his story gets quite long, I chose to tell it at the point he became Number 2 in Egypt. You may freely download the texts on PDF, and listen to my versions on mp3, and use them yourself. |

the faith of Abraham. But what would it be like for Isaac? What about
