Child sex abuse and its consequences remain largely a silent epidemic that continues to devastate families and break the heart of God. No church body is immune! A glaring need exists for unified church education and protocol.

This seminar was designed to spotlight the problem and educate church leaders. Does your church have a protocol in place to handle sexual abuse, and do your staff know how to respond?

  

Dr. Narelle Dawson is a clinical psychologist who has specialized in sexual abuse studies. She is passionate about churches taking a united front to protect our children. She highlights the profile of a sex abuser, child and family safety strategies, and the needs of victims for justice and aftercare.

Jane served as an investigative member of a police team dealing with sexual abuse. Sue Rammage is a Social Worker with CYFS dealing with the protection of children from sexual abuse. Dr Bruce Thompson has recently moved back to NZ from YWAM in Switzerland where he established a College of Counselling and Health Care. Craig Vernall is the Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church where this seminar is held. He is also the Chairman of the Tauranga Ministers Association.
