Rev Chris Nicol TV Producer & Presenter
Chris Nichol began hosting Praise Be in March 2006 taking over from the very popular host of 20 years, Graeme Thomson.   He produced and directed the programme from 1991 to 1994 and since then, has continued to act as a consultant to TVNZ on religious programming and issues.
Chris is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand and has been very involved with ecumenical and inter-church work as a University Chaplain.
The Hon. Anand Satyanand Governor-General of NZ
The Governor-General, Anand Satyanand has had a multi-faceted career as a lawyer, judge and ombudsman. These roles have given him a wide perspective on the workings of government and its relationship with citizens, and the needs of individuals.   
Born and raised in Auckland, he attended Auckland schools. After graduating with a law degree from the University of Auckland in 1970, he spent the next 12 years in legal practice in Auckland. He became a district court judge in 1982. His main specialist work was in the criminal law area as a trial judge for 10 years.
In the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2005, he was made a Distinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (DCNZM) and a Principal Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (PCNZM) in 2006.
